Both fishing banks are within easy reach for day fishing trips where Yellow Fin Tuna, Black Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Bonita, Amberjack, sea turtles, whales, sea lions, and dolphin are found.

Punta de Mita is the ideal place to launch your fishing trip rather than Puerto Vallarta. To fish the open ocean; boats leaving Puerto Vallarta must pass right by Punta Mita to get to our abundant fishing waters. Our proximity to the protected Marietas Islands (Islas Marietas) will save you two hours of travel time. You will be able to spend more of your time fishing and less time "commuting".
